Sukkur IBA launches BBA in Agriculture

Sukkur Institute of Business Administration (Suk- IBA), with the collaboration of the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) are being launched a four-year joint degree programme BBA (Agriculture) in order to strengthen inter-provincial harmony and to produce trained manpower equipped with entrepreneurial skills.
According to Spokesperson Sukkur IBA, Marvi Aslam, the total 132 credit hour degree programme has been designed for 100 students (50 from each institution) that will be exchanged after spending two years at their home institution.

Reaction after Altaf Husain`s arrest

Immediately after the news of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain`s arrest, Sukkur city descended into chaos and panic, broght all routine activities to a standstill.
Business centres, petrol pumps, shops and educational institutes were remain closed here on Tuesday.
A large number of MQM activists reached at the MQM zonal office Sukkur chanted slogans and tyers were set ablaze.
There have also been reports of aerial firing in different localities. The security on high alert across the city.
Reports were also received from Khairpur and other localities where business activities came to a halt after news of Altaf’s arrest spread.
Addressing to workers, a gathered to express solidarity with Altaf Hussain here on at MQM zonal office, Quttubuddin Ansari said the MQM Chief only raises voice for the prosperity of poor people and that is the sin for which conspiracies are being hatched against him.
