LAHORE, Nov 16 (INP): A drunken Indian citizen on Monday slammed jeep in Wagah border gate destroying Indian side while Pakistani gate was partly affected.
Pakistan Rangers stated that the incident took place at around 4 am today. An Indian national drove his four-wheel drive into the gates.
Border Security Force (BSF) seized the vehicle and detained the violator. Due to the destruction at the site, Dosti Bus service was affected for sometimes. However, Pakistani authorities restored the service after taking appropriate action at the time.
Punjab Rangers has sent a protest letter to the Indian Border Security Force demanding a full investigation into the incident. It questioned as to what the BSF personnel were doing when the Indian citizens crashed the vehicle with the gate.
