Many of Diana’s jewels were given to her by the Queen, and after the Princess’ death, they were passed on to other members of the Royal Family. Since Meghan entered the royal family in 2018, the former actor has been seen wearing a few special jewellery pieces that used to belong to Diana.
One of these jewels is the Asprey aquamarine ring.
This is a rare piece that is said to have been commissioned to replace Diana’s sapphire and diamond engagement ring after she and Prince Charles divorced in 1996.
However, Diana only wore the ring twice before her tragic death on August 31, 1997.
The jewel is a 24-carat yellow gold band features an emerald-cut aquamarine stone flanked by small solitaire diamonds.
