HYDERABAD: The Rangers and Hyderabad police took out a joint flag march here on Tuesday to demonstrate preparedness for Muharram security.
According top the details, dozens of vehicles and as many motorbikes of the law enforcement agencies passed from Heerabad, Market, Sakhi Pir, Fuleli, Faqir Jo Pirh, Tilak Chadhi, Station Road, Hyder Chowk, Auto Bahn, Latifabad and Qasimabad before culminating at the Qasim Chowk.
The SSP of Hyderabad district Irfan Baloch has also ordered security rehearsals to ensure impregnable security during the month of Muharram.
Meanwhile, the police spokesman Mazhar Shani informed that the Rangers and police carried out search operations of the hotels and guest houses as well as many houses in several localities of Hyderabad in search of suspicious persons.
The SSP had also ordered the police to collect information about the residential tenants including copies of their NIC cards and additional details, he added.
