COAS Gen Raheel meets Turkish leaders

RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif called on Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and President Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara separately, ISPR reported.
The Turkey leadership appreciated Pakistan role for regional peace and Pak Army’s contribution in defeating terrorism, said Inter Services of Public Relation (ISPR).
The Turkey leadership emphasized fraternal ties between two brotherly nations, added ISPR. The army chief pledged Pakistan’s complete full support in handling Turkey’s security challenges.
The army chief also called on Defenece Minister, CGS separately and expressed satisfaction on defence cooperation.
Both sides vowed to further enhance the defence collaboration.
