Prime accused booked on the charges of raping and murdering the girl

BADIN: Kadhan police on Sunday lodged the FIR including the cleric of the seminary on the charges alleged gang-rape and killing of a 12 years girl. Kadhan police after the protest by the relatives of the alleged -rape victim and murdered girl registered the FIR on Sunday against the cleric of the local seminary in village Chaudhri Khushi Muhammad Arain, Moulvi Ghulam Murtaza Shar, Wasim Ahmed Arain, Adil Arain and Bilawal Arain with no arrest except Moulvi Shar, who was detained on Saturday. The FIR was lodged on the complaint of the victim’s father Ghulam Mustafa Arain under the sections of 302, 376 and 511 Pakistan Penal Code. While, according to the initial medical report released by the lady doctor of Civil Hospital Badin, Dr Farzana, the body of the girl bore no torture mark and the cause of the death was said to be respiratory complication. Dr Abdul Khalique Khatti, the Civil Surgeon of Badin civil hospital talking to media on Sunday said that according to initial report the possibility of the gang-rape could not be ruled adding he informed that the virginity of the girl was damaged and she bled profusely for more than 3 days. Dr Khatti revealed that the girl sustained injuries three days before she died on Saturday. Ghulam Murtaza Shar, prime accused booked on the charges of raping and murdering the girl, talking to the local newsmen in the lock-ups of Kadhan police station claimed that he was implicated in a false and fabricated case. He pleaded not guilty of committing such heinous crime. The social, political and religious activists talking to media demanded thorough inquiry into the matter.

Dr Fehmida Mirza termed the incident as barbaric & assures the bereaved family of her full support

BADIN: Former Speaker National Assembly & Member of National Assembly Pakistan from Badin, Dr. Fehmida Mirza while taking serious notice of a heinous act & incident occurred at Kadhan, Badin, ordered the police authorities to taken stern action against the involved persons & directed to arrest culprits on immediate basis.
Moreover, she directed the SSP Badin for protection & justice to victim’s family & to submit the report to her so that she could take up the matter at the proper forum.
While expressing her grief & sorrow over the unfortunate & terrible incident, she offered her heartfelt condolence with bereaved family & prayed for departed soul.
Dr Mirza termed the incident as barbaric and assured the bereaved family of her full support.
