ABBAS KASSAR
HYDERABAD: Sindh remained closed on call of Sindh Bachayo Committee against influx of aliens from upper country into Sindh who are arriving in Sindh in thousands daily as a result of operation against terrorists.
Since start of operation on June 15, around one million people have been displaced from Wazirstan, a big number of them have found their way in Sindh which has remained easy prey for every one as on one hand Sindh government headed by PPP has never raised objection against entry of aliens from any province of Pakistan as well from any country of world while no other province even federal capital Islamabd has been accepting the displaced persons despite the fact that operation has been initiated by federal government.
The apathy of Sindh government and PPP has been causing resentment and anger among Sindhi people who are on roads since then but the government seems to have turned deaf ears on the issue.
Apart from Sindhi areas of Karachi and Hyderabad almost all cities and towns observed complete shutter down and wheel jam strike.
In Hyderabad a sit in was observed on bye pass road which was led by Syed Jalal Shah of Sindh united party,Niaz Kalani of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Dr. Dodo Mehri, and other leaders of 10 party alliance which are members of Sindh Bachayo Committee.
