LARKANA: Newly posted SSP Larkana Engineer Nisar Ahmed Channa has taken over the charge and held meeting with all Police officers among all DSPs and SHOs in district and issued his directives to ensure peace and tranquility in Larkana. He also directed to maintain law and order situation and elimination of criminal activities, slackness in duties will be dealt with stern legal action against them, this he said while presiding over first introductory meeting at his office on the occasion.
SSP further said that it is prime responsibility on Police to protect the lives and properties of public, all resources will be utilized to wipe out social evils in Larkana, so that Larkana will be among crime free model district he said.
SSP Nisar Channa directed concerned Police officials to ensure cordial relations between Police and Public and restore the public confidence on Police.
The meeting was attended ASP city, Kamran Nawaz Punjotha and other concerned Police officials.
Later Police led by SSP Larkana Nisar Ahmed Channa staged flag march in connection with celebrating 67th Independence day at Larkana city. A large number of Police motorcyclists passed from different roads including VIP road, Bunder road, Pakistani Chowk, Statio road, Lahori Muhalla and others.
On the other hand, Khaksar Tehreek Larkana continued their protest against ASP city Tauqir and demanded removal of him immediately. They chanted slogan of fair justice and enquiry of police high hardness of Khaksar leader as Home Secretary letter to the concerned police authorities.
Khaksar Tehreek Larkana has well come newly appointed SSP and appeal for an enquiry against SSP Larkana Tauqir and fair justice.
Khaksar activists and citizens demanded fair inquiry and justice over the illegal arrest and FIR against Khaksar leader Azm-e-Hyder. They also appealed Chief Justice and higher authorities to take action against those police officials all over Sindh involve in the illegal detainment and harassment of citizens without any charges they demanded.
