Independence Day observes with full patriotic zeal and zest in Sukkur region

Independence Day celebrated with full patriotic zeal and zest in Sukkur region and all other cities of Sindh on Friday.
Rallies were taken out in big and smalls cities and villages of the province on the eve of 69th Independence Day. Different cultural shows were organized in schools, private and public sector offices in Sukkur, Pano Aqil, Ghotki, Mirpur Mathelo, Daharki, Ubauro, Guddu, Kandhkot, Kahsmore and other cities of the province.
Streets, markets, roads, schools, and public places were decorated with national flags and buntings, streets of almost every city in the province remained aloud with national songs and Pakistan Zindabad slogans on the occasion. Flag hoisting ceremonies were also held schools and universities in the morning where students sang and danced on the tunes of national songs, while tableaus were demonstrated by students.
National Highways Motorway Police distributed gifts among the travelers at tool plaza Rohri and took out a rally at Pano Aqil from a school to Dua Chowk led by Admin officer Sajjad Hussain Pirzada.
A colorful ceremony was also organized at High School Mirpur Mathelo arranged by district administration Ghotki.
To mark the day rallies were also taken out by political parties including PML-N, PPP, PML-F, MQM and others.
Youth with high sprit of patriotism danced over the national songs to express their love to the country.

Two young girls committed suicide on Thursday within jurisdiction of Mirpur Mathelo police station.
18-years-old Benazir drunk poisonous medicine over domestic issues in village Kalu Buriro. Police reached on the spot, shifted the body to civil hospital Mirpur Mathelo and handed over to the heirs after an autopsy.
Meanwhile, 14-years-old Naina daughter of Mitho Menghwar jumped in a canal near village Alnaro the body was recovered by villagers.

ITA CELEBRATES NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH GREAT PATRIOTIC ZEST.

69th National Independence day celebrated by (ITA) in all partner of government schools at Government Primary School Jamra on Thursday.
Programs were held in all Schools to mark the day. Mega event was held at government primary school Jamra one of the partner School of Idara-e-taleem-o-Aagahi where 09 nearby Schools were participate in the event to pay homage to people who devoted their lives for Pakistan’s freedom movement and made sacrifices to attain Pakistan’s independence.
The event was attended by education officials, Ms. Najam-un-nisa Mangi the District Education Officer (DEO) Shikarpur, Syed Muhammad Shah Taluka Education Officer Lakhi Ghulam Shah (TEO), Syed Abdullah Shah supervisor primary education, Mumtaz Channa focal person Taluka education office LGS, Mr. Habibullah Khokher senior headmaster, other teachers, students, parents and general public in big number.
Speeches were delivered on the significance of the day, students presented tableaus, gave marvelous performance on national songs, debate competition was held amongst students.
Ms. Ms. Najam-un-nisa Mangi said that organizing such events in rural areas is great initiative of (ITA) such programs must also be organized in other Schools of district Shikarpur.
This is continuation of summer camp activities where we provide a platform and forum to students from under privileged and vulnerable communities to unfold their talent and show their skills; vision of ITA is to promote education as a comprehensive process for human and social transformation, said Maqbool Ahmed Laghari District Manager ITA Shikarpur, Zahid Ahmed Abro.
On the other hand Mr. Abdullah Shah, Waseem Ayaz Meerani, Hamadullah Jamro, Habibullah Khokher and others were also spoke.

NOTORIOUS DACOIT KILLED IN AN ENCOUNTER.

SHIKARPUR:
The special police party headed by SHO Khanpur Muhammad Ayoub Dogar met an encounter at Karo Kalar area of jurisdiction of Khanpur Police Station on last late night when the police received on spy information.
As a result of exchange of fairing one of the dacoit identified as Kuraro Brohi residential of village Sher Muhammad Brohi was killed on the spot while the other three dacoits slipped away from the seen of fairing while getting the benefit of darkness.
According to spokesperson of Shikarpur police Naseem Bukhari that the deceased dacoits Kuraro Brohi was notified with rupees of 0.5 million as his head money by the Sindh government deceased dacoit Kuraro Brohi was wanted to police in more than 56 heinous crimes including murder, road robberies, kidnapping for ransom and other offences.
Police have recovered one hand grenade, TT Pistol and ammunition from the possession of the deceased dacoit.
The dead body of the deceased dacoit handed over to his heirs after conducting postmortem examination from District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital Shikarpur.
FIR was registered on behalf of government at Khanpur Police Station.

Flag hoisting ceremony program organized by Sambara Scouts Open Group (Reg) with collaboration Pakistan Muslim league Nawaz (PML-N) senior activist Advocate J J Weshino in Scouts Divisional Headquarter Shikarpur at Rustam Moor here on Friday.
According to reports, J J Weshno Advocate the senior activist of PML-N and founder member of Sambara Scouts Open Group highlighted the importance of Independence Day.
A big number scouts participated in flag hoisting ceremony on the occasion of 69th Independence Day of our beloved country.
Later on, PMLN leader J J Weshino and Scouts students marched through various roads reached in Civil Hospital Shikarpur and distributed fruit, Juices amongst the patients.
Meanwhile PML-N advocates cut a cake in the office of PML N senior worker J J Vaishno Advocate in connection with 69th Independence Day of Pakistan.

18 corruption cases solved during the meeting of Anti-Corruption Committee

18 corruption cases against different departments were solved during the meeting of Anti-Corruption Committee that was presided over by Chairman Anti-Corruption Committee-II/ Commissioner Sukkur Division Muhammad Abbas Baloch at his office. Chairman of the committee and Commissioner Sukkur Mr. Baloch directed to lodge FIRs against the nine cases including six of Food Department, 02 of Revenue and one of Police department. However, the other nine cases were disposed off on having against no proofs and evidences. On the occasion, Chairman Anti-Corruption Committee Muhammad Abbas Baloch directed Deputy Director Anti-Corruption to get inquiry and verification personally as no any corrupt officer may left of getting punishment. During the meeting, Deputy Director Anti Corruption Rana Ayaz gave briefing regarding the different corruption cases.

147th annual Urs of Faqir Qadir Bux Bedil to be celebrated on August, 29 at Rohri

SUKKUR: 147th annual Urs celebrations of Sufi poet Hazrat Faqir Qadir Bux Bedil will be celebrated from 29th August at his last resting place at Rohri. Provincial Minister Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Commissioner Sukkur Division Muhammad Abbas Baloch will inaugurate the Urs celebrations by laying Chadar at the Mazar of Sufi poet. Presiding over a meeting regarding arrangements of Urs celebrations, Commissioner Sukkur Muhammad Abbas Baloch directed to constitute the sub committees with the representation of youth as they may become well aware about the services rendered by the Sufi saints and the poets. He also directed to organize the musical program at Lab-e-Mehran as people may get entertainment in an open environment besides the river Indus. The Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah accompanied with Commissioner Sukkur Division Muhammad Abbas Baloch will inaugurate three day Urs celebrations on Saturday, August, 29 and participate in the Mehfil.i.Sama on that day. On August, 31, the MNA and the opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshed Ahmed Shah will also participate in the Urs celebrations. On Monday, August 31, Mehfil-e-Mushaaira at 6.00 pm, Adabi conference at 8.00 pm will be conducted followed by the Mehfil-e-Moosiqui at 10 pm. The members of the Bedil Yadgar Committee and the Secretary Committee Akhtar Dargahi briefed the meeting that on this occasion, the Sufi artists of Radio and Television will present their Soofiana Raag, and informed that 25 books of Bedil out of 40 have been printed as yet, and the more funds are required for the publication of further books. Sajjada Nasheen Dargah Bedil Bekas Faqir Najaf Qureshi, Convenor Bedil Bekas Yadgar Committee Syed Qasim Ali Shah, Faqir Ejaz Qureshi, officers of the Municipal Committee Rohri and other officials of the concerned departments were also present on this occasion.

LAI to counter mainstream political parties for upcoming local bodies election

Newly formed Larkana Awami Itehad (LAI) local alliance to counter mainstream political parties for upcoming local bodies election in Larkana and Kamber Shahdadkot district held meeting and announced to hold rally for showing power on 24th August 2015 against incompetency of government and increasing corruption in Sindh here at residence of PML F Leader Syed Akbar Shah Rashidi at Pir Jo Goth.
Convener of Larkana Awami Itehad (LAI) Haji Munwar Ali Abbasi chaired the meeting and took some important decisions including formation of Manifesto and line of action to contest forthcoming local bodies election, meeting decided that LAI will field its own candidates in all seats in both districts to counter the PPP candidates.
The meeting was attended by former Advisor to Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawabzada Ameer Bux Bhutto, PTI Leader Shafqat Hussain Unar, Chieftain of Gopang community Sardar Fida Hussain Gopang, former Taluka Nazim Qurban Ali Abbasi, President Larkana Shahri Itehad Niaz Hussain Abro, former Taluka Nazim Nazir Shaikh, Gadinasheen of Garib Dargah Pir Didha Dil Ghaffari, President Federation of Trade Tariq Nazir Shaikh, PML N Babu Sarfraz Jatoi, Ayaz Hussain Jafri and others.
Stalwarts of different political parties along with former PPP MPA and angry PPP local leaders joined a new political alliance Larkana Awami Itehad (LAI) to defeat the PPP in upcoming elections.
Speaking to media after the meeting Haji Munwar Ali Abbasi Convener said that to ensure transparent local bodies election in Sindh, bio metric system should be introduced under the supervision of Pak Army and Rangers to avoid the rigging.
He said that LAI has constituted the committee to formulate the manifesto, adding that LAI is not against the any certain political party but it will mitigate the public issues, masses are sick of PPP policies and want to change in Larkana.
He said that NAB actions in Sindh are legitimate against the corrupt bureaucrats and politicians, Rangers should be empowered to take actions in entire Sindh like Karachi.
Former MPA and Convener LAI Haji Munwar Ali Abbasi announced to take out big rally in Larkana showing power on 25th August 2015 against the bad governance and corruption
