DADU: WAPDA-HESCO (Hyderabad Electric Supply Company) disconnected the power supply of Shrine of Hazrat Qalandar Lal Shahbaz on Wednesday due to outstanding amount over than 20 million rupees. Owing to disconnection of power supply of shrine of Hazrat Qalandar Lal Shahbaz, the devotees were facing acute shortage of water for drinking purpose.
Talking to local reporter, manager Aoqaf of Shrine of Hazrat Qalandar Lal Shahbaz, Masood Ahmed Mangi told that WAPDA-HESCO officials had sent inflated bill. He said that HESCO officials should correct it and they will pay bill in parts.
SDO – Sub Divisional Officer, HESCO Nazeer Solangi told that owing to 20 million rupees outstanding amount to Shrine of Hazrat Qalandar lal Shahbaz, the power was disconnected. He said that Aoqaf officials had contacted that they will pay bill in parts. He said that power will be restored as soon as officials of Aoqaf will agree to pay bill.
While due to disconnecting power supply of Shrine of Hazrat Qalandar Lal Shahbaz, over than 10 devotees were fell unconscious due to increasing heat, they were shifted to local taluka hospital.
