KARACHI: A team of Fisheries Department, Government of Sindh has conducted a raid on two Suzuki pick-ups at Kiamari area, arrested two accused and recovered hedge quantity of Kidi (prawns) illegally cached/hunted during ban imposed by the Sindh Fisheries Department.
According to details on a tip of information, the team of fisheries department headed by Deputy Director Sayed Haroon Rizvi, conducted a raid on two Suzuki pick-ups having numbers KG-9174 and KQ-2909 and recovered huge quantity of Kidi Prawns from the possession of accused namely Muhammad Zareen and Anwar.
The Deputy Director Fisheries informed that fine of Rupees One lac also recovered from the accused.
He said that the Fisheries Department, Government of Sindh has already imposed ban on the catch/hunting of kidi (prawn) during the month of July according to Sindh Fisheries Ordinance 1980 and amended 2003.
ANP DELEGATION JOINED PPP IN PRESENCE OF MUZAFFAR SHUJRA

KARACHI: A delegation of ANP Muzaffarabad Malir headed by Mr. Farman Khan called on, Coordinator to Chief Minister Sindh for Chief Minister’s Inspection and Enquiries Team Haji Muzaffar Ali Shujra and announced to join in Pakistan Peoples Party along with his 60 workers.
On the occasion Muzaffar Shujrah said, the PPP is the only party which always redress the problems of masses and added that; after the joining of Farman Khan and others, the Union Council Muzaffarabad would be developed and the problems of area would be solved.
He also welcomed the delegation on their joining in the peoples party.
SECRETARY INFORMATION GIVES CHEQUE TO WIDOW OF SUPERINTENDENT

KARACHI: Secretary Information Sindh Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Shalwani has handed over a cheque of Rs.4 lac 50 thousand to the widow of Superintendent of Information Late Azhar Hussain in the account of Group Insurance. Deputy Director Information Administration Mr. Imtiaz Ali Joyo was present on the occasion.
TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS DURING PROCESSON OF SHAHADAT DAY OF HAZRA ALI (KW)

KARACHI: The Deputy Inspector General of Police Traffic Karachi Dr. Sain Rakhio Mirani has informed for the general public that on 21st Ramazan-ul-Mubarak-1435 A.H. 20th July, 2014 (Sunday) Procession in connection with Shahadat Day of Hazrat Ali (KW) will be taken out from Nishter Park to Hussainian Iranian Imam Bargah Kharadar. It will be mandatory o get stickers to be displayed on wind screen of their vehicles.
He said, the Law Enforcement Agencies, District Administration (Government vehicles) ambulances and media organizations will submit their applications for stickers from 15th to 18th July, 2014 in the office of the DIGP/Traffic (Traffic Security Branch) Police Headquarters Garden, Aga Khan-III Road, Karachi and obtain stickers on 19th July, 2014.
The Government organizations will provide departmental request letter mentioning vehicles list, while ambulance services, media etc. will provide attested copies of Registration Book, CNIC of the owner, driver’s CNIC, Driving License & 3 photographs for obtaining the stickers, he added.
However the vehicles of scouts, welfare organizations, sabils, Nazar & Niaz distributing persons shall submit their application forms along with below mentioned documents/articles at SRC Scouts Office (Karachi Open District) located at Numaish (Contact No.0213-5499955) from 15th to 18th July, 2014 and get the receipt.
The stickers can be collected from office of the DIGP/Traffic (Traffic Security Branch) Police Headquarters garden, Aga Khan-III Road, Karachi on 19th July, 2014.
The documents (attested photo copies) must be provided for obtaining Traffic Entry Pass for procession (media, ambulance service, scouts, nazar, niaz etc.).
No sticker will be issued without provision of Registration Book of the Vehicle, National Identity Card of the vehicle owner, diving license, CNIC and 3 attested photographs of the driver and letter of the owner/organizer.
To get the stickers for scouts organizations, welfare organizations, sabils, nazar & niaz distributing vehicles etc. original CNIC, receipt of Scout Association and copy of CNIC will be deposited for collecting sticker.
To get the stickers for Law Enforcement Agencies, District Administration (government vehicles), ambulance and media organizations etc. CNIC, departmental ID Card and letter pad f the department will b shown and copy of CNIC and departmental ID Card will be deposited for collecting sticker.
