Fazl-ur-Rehman asks govt not be afraid of any ‘long march’

MULTAN: Chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman Monday said that the government should not be scared of any ‘long march’.
Talking to newsmen in Wifaq ul Madaris, Multan, JUI-F chief Fazl ur Rehman said giving a call for a long march on Independence Day was inappropriate.
He called for giving such suggestions the government that can help strengthen the democracy.
The JUI-F Chief further said that calling a long march against the government on Independence Day was an attempt to cast slur on Independence.
Fazl claimed that he had staged biggest long marches in the past but nothing ever went wrong.
