LARKANA: Anti Corruption Establishment Police nabbed the DSP on allegedly taking Rs 40000 bribe and registered FIR against him here on Thursday.
According to details: Anti Corruption Establishment Police led by Circle Officer Larkana Rato Khan Jalbani and Additional Circle Officer Abdul Hameed Sangi raided near the locality of Air Port road Larkana and arrested the DSP Ghulam Murtaza alias Papu Abbasi on charges of receiving bribe Rs 40000 from complainant Imamuddin Kalhoro resident of Shaikh Zaid Colony Larkana few years back Circle Officer Rato Khan Jalbani told media men that Imamuddin Kalhoro had filed complaint letter against the DSP Ghulam Murtaza Abbasi and leveled the charges of receiving bribe Rs 4000 in 302 case at Waleed
Police Station in 2004, after the approval from ACC ii, the FIR no 11/2014 has been registered against him and Anti Corruption Police have initiated the further investigation matter.
Circle Officer further informed that three days back Anti Corruption Police had arrested red handed to record keeper clerk at Sub Registrar Office Larkana accused Nazir Shah while taking bribe Rs 2500 during the interrogation arrested accused confessed the involvement of other accused among main character behind the corruption is Sub Registrar Mushtaq Shaikh, Anti Corruption has started the searching to arrest the other accused, added that accused Nazir Shah had demanded Rs 4000 bribe for provision of true copy of required land record, he was paid Rs 2500 following his arrest on the occasion.
He said that Anti Corruption Police will arrest the Sub Registrar and other accused

LARKANA: Police cop committed suicide by Pistol fire due to domestic problems at his village in the jurisdiction of Aqil Police Station here on Wednesday.
According to details 23 ;year old Liaqat Ali Detho resident of village Masu Hab allegedly fired himself by Pistol inside his home owing to domestic issue resulting he sustained critical injuries and was rushed to CMC Hospital Larkana where he succumbed to his injuries, the dead body was handed over to his heirs after postpartum.
According to local Police that deceased was constable in SRP at Karachi and had come at his village to celebrate the Eid , SHO Imdad Ali Shah told media men that it is premature to say anything about the incident either it was suicide or murder , he expressed doubt of murder, added that Police will probe into the incident.
Hussain Bux Detho uncle of deceased said that Liaqat Ali Detho has committed suicide because he was mentally up set.
