HYDERABAD: Hepatitis control program Sindh and directorate general health services Sindh jointly took out a rally to give awareness to masses on hepatitis.
The rally on the occasion of World Hepatitis Day was taken from directorate general health Whdat colony to press club where program manager of hepatitis prevention and control program Dr. Zahoor Baloch addressed the rally.
He said rally was aimed to provide awareness to people about prevention from this disease.
He said he and his staff were fighting against this deadly disease and were striving to control it. He vowed to continue fight till end of disease. Deputy program manager Dr.Ali Akbar Daheri also addressed the rally.
He said they were observing a week on awareness of hepatitis across for from 23 to 28 July.
He said they were delivering awareness and urging on prevention more than cure.
The staff of the program, doctors, para medics,members of civil society including NGOs, journalists men and women and others participated in large number in the rally.
He informed that next day a seminar was to be organized in city.
