400 SECURITY PERSONNEL WOULD BE RECRUITED FOR PRISONS IN PROVINCE: WASAN

Sindh Minister for Prisons, Anti-Corruption and Mines & Mineral Development, Mr. Manzoor Hussain Wasan has said that 400 Security personnel would be recruited for the prisons, Karachi Hyderabad and Sukkur Jails are sensitive, they acquired more sophisticated weapons. He said that the steps are being taken for the construction of bomb proof walls around the said sensitive prisons.
He said that some dangerous prisoners are expected to be shifted from the one jail to an other jail due to the security requirements. He said there are various kinds of dangerous prisoners detained in the jails of Sindh which were being strictly monitored.
He expressed these views with the people belongs to his constituency and the representatives of TV channels at his office this morning.
Responding to a question Mr. Wasan said that democratic process was started in Pakistan which is very difficult to derail.
He said that present Government will complete its term and added that the protests and rallies are the part of the political process and this process will continue.
He urged the federal government to provide basic needs like electricity, water, gas, transport and others to the people.

ADDITIONAL DISTRICT SESSIONS JUDGE SHAHDADPUR POSTED AT LARKANA

KARACHI: The Hon’ble Chief Justice and the Judges of High Court of Sindh have transferred Additional District & Sessions Judge Shahdadpur Mr. Muhammad Manzir-ul-Haq and posted at Larkana vice Mr. Manzoor Ali Khamisani who have been transferred and posted at Shahdadpur.

HOME SECRETARY DIRECTS TO ARREST THE ACCUSED INVOLVED IN GANG RAPE INCIDENT

Sindh Home Secretary Dr. Niaz Ali Abbasi has taken serious notice of the incident of gang rape with four women at Rasoolabad area of Hingorja Town District Khairpur and directed the Senior Police Officers to arrest the suspects immediately.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he said there are strict rules regarding abuse of women and added the accused be arrested and brought to the justice.
Secretary Home directed that special measures to be carried out for arrest of the suspects, so that the justice could be provided to the affected family of Rasoolabad.
While seeking detailed report, he asked that the accused must be arrested at any cost.
He strongly deplored the incident and said such incidents cannot be ignored at any cost and exemplary punishment would be awarded to the accused involved in vicious crime.
