TWO POLICE MEN KILLED IN FIRING BY OUTLAWS

Two police men were killed by unknown armed men at police picket Mahmoodabagh situated at Yousif Bridge within the jurisdiction of Mahmoodabagh Police Station on Monday mid night.
According to reports a group of five unidentified armed men attacked on Mahmoodabadh Police picket with automatic weapons.
As a result of heavy firing on the police staffs available at a police picket one Assistant Sub Inspector [ASI] Haji Muhammad Bundhara resident of Mian Chunoon Punjab and Police Constable [PC] Ghulam Rasool Suhito resident of Naushehro Feroze District deployed at picket were killed on the spot. The assailants after firing on police picket the official weapons of the police men were taken away.
While receiving the information the big police contingent rushed to the place of incident on Tuesday morning and cordoned off the area to search the assailants.
However some suspects were apprehended by police during the search operation. While no any arrest of the real culprits was reported till this news was flashed.
The dead bodies of the killed police men were brought to District Headquarter [DHQ] Hospital and handed over to the SSP Shikarpur after having conducted the post-mortem examination.
The Nimaz-e-Janaza of martyred police men was performed at Police Headquarter Shikarpur.
Deputy Inspector General [DIG] Police Larkana Sain Rakhi Mirani, Deputy Commissioner [DC] Shikarpur Abid Saleem Qureshi, SSP Shikarpur Nasir Aftab Khattak, Naveed Alam Abro and other citizens attended the Nimaz-e-Janaza.
Later the dead bodies of the police men were sent to their native places along with their relatives through Ambulance after giving salute to the deceased police men.
Receiving the information of the incident the Sindh provincial Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal and the Inspector General of Police [IGP] have ordered to SSP Shikarpur to submit the detailed report into the incident without any delay.
Besides the Home Minister of Sindh announced the compensation of rupees 2.00 million to each victim family as well as to give jobs to the independent relatives of the martyred police men in police department.
The Home Minister also ordered to pay the salary money of the martyred police men to their relatives till retirement period of the deceased policemen.
Addressing at the press conference held at the office of SSP Shikarpur DIG Police Larkana said that the killing of the police men was the targeted killing to get revenge against the killings of the notorious dacoits and the professional elements during the ongoing police search operations being conducted in district Shikarpur in which many of the proclaimed offenders and dangerous dacoits involved in many heinous offences were killed and arrested by Shikarpur police particularly.
However DIG Police determined that the police operation would be continued to crush the professional criminals and the dacoits by police till the congenial atmosphere was restored in the district of Shikarpur where the district was remaining under the Jungle rule since long.
On the occasion the SSP Shikarpur has claimed to arrest the real culprits involved in the armed attack on police men at police picket Mahmoodabagh very soon and he said and added that Shikarpur police while receiving the challenge by the outlaw’s all out moral and legal resources would be utilized to discourage the all kinds of criminal activities being committed by the outlaw’s in order to ensure the peace and tranquility in the district at any coast.

HASHISH SEIZED

A big quantity of super quality hashish was seized by Khanpur Police while raiding at Darogo Wah on Indus highway road near Khanpur on Tuesday in early hours.
While receiving spy information the police party led by Sub Inspector [SI] Karim Napar raided on a Mazda van at Darogo Wah and recovered 106 KGs hashish from the Mazda van.
The police arrested the Mazda van driver Abedullah Brohi of Dera Murad Jamali [DMJ] Baluchistan while the other his companions slipped away from the spot.
According to reports the recovered hashish was taking away from Baluchistan for Punjab to sell when the Mazda van was intercepted on the road.
The international market prices as said as more than rupees 10 million.
The FIR was registered at Khanpur Police Station by SI Karim Napar on behalf of the state.
Further investigation into the case is in progress.
