ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday has taken action against two Lahore High Court (LHC) judges on accusations of graft and misconduct.
The Supreme Judicial Council has served notices to Justice Shahid Hamid Dar and Justice Muzahar Ali Akbar Naqvi. Justice Dar comes on fourth in seniority list, while Justice Naqvi on 11th.
As per reports, Justice Dar is accused of graft, while Justice Naqvi of giving weak verdicts leading to advantage of the criminals. Judicial council’s chairman will initiate action on November 12.
