JHANG: Two persons were dead and 45 others injured when a passanger bus overturned on Jhang-Sargodha Road near Mor Mandi on Saturday.
According to the Rescue sources said that a speeding bus coming from Sargodha overturned while overtaking a truck. As a result, two persons Noor (50) and Shahbaz (35) were dead on the spot, and 45 others received injuries.
Some of the 30 injured, shifted to DHQ Hospital, were identified as Farooq, Muhammad Bakhsh, Imran, Ansar Abbas, Majid, Allah Ditta, Ishaq, Irshad, Zain, Saleem Bibi, Ammar, Sadia, Rehana, etc.
However, 15 were given first aid by the Rescue 1122 and sent to their destinations. Police were investigating.
