SUKKUR: Five day HEC Indigenous On-Campus Training (IOT) Workshop on administrative and communication skills inaugurated at Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur, funded by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad at SALU on Monday.
The training workshop is being organized for the non-faculty staff of University from BPS-16 and above.
Speaking on the occasion, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Shikarpur campus Dr Lutfullah Mangi said that this is the unique training workshop sponsored by HEC. He applauded the efforts of the Chaiman HEC Dr Mukhtar Ahmed for the capacity building of the staff of the Universities.
He said that the communication and administrative skills are the need of the hour because these promote the working environment and for the convenience of the public at large.
He also appreciated the step taken by HEC for the training of administrative staff across the Universities.
Professor Imtiaz Ahmed Pirzada also shed light on the significance of this training workshop and said that the issue of governance could be resolved with the help of such types of training workshops because this empowers the staff in public sector universities.
Earlier, Course Coordinator Dr Taj Mohammad Lashari highlighted the objectives of the training and welcomed the chief guest, resource persons and participants.
