KARACHI: Police claimed to have killed three terrorists during an alleged encounter in SITE area of Karachi.
According to police, the terrorists attacked police van and were killed in the retaliatory fire.
The terrorists perished in the SITE area encounter have affiliation with outlawed group, police claimed.
Police also recovered arms and hand grenades from the possession of killed militants.
While, three accused including two wanted criminals of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in separate incidents in the city on Monday.
According to SSP West Irfan Baloch, two suspected militants affiliated with the banned outfit of TTP Swat chapter were killed in a police encounter that took place in Baldia Town area.
The culprits were involved in killing several policemen and extortion. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from their possession, the official added.
On the other hand, a police encounter took place in Kharadar area early today morning during which an accused was killed while two others managed to escape.
