SNP ASKS MQM TO STOP HARASSING SINDHIS OFFICERS IN KARACHI

HYDERABAD: Sindh National Party has taken exception of harassment of Sindhi officers in Karachi by Mutehida and said if the threats were not stopped and Sindhi officers stopped from working in Karachi then it will have reaction in Sindh.In a statement chairman of SNP Amir Bhambhro has said it appears that after raising issue of new province now campaign launched by MQM to expel Sindhis from Karachi they are conspiring for ethnic riots. He said Sindhis working in various government and non government departments were being harassed and forced to leave jobs and Karachi. He said MQM has thousands of its workers doing service in government and semi government offices in Karachi water board, KESC,KDA,MDA,local bodies, govt hospitals and also in H.D.A,Wasa, and other departments who were getting salaries sitting at homes. He asked Sindh government to terminate such employees working on visa. He said they were not against Urdu speaking brothers but if MQM imposed war on Sindhis on e of language they would not remain silent. He said he once again makes appeal to MQM to refrain from conspiracy aginst Sindh otherwise they would show their reaction.

PROVINCIAL COORDINATOR LHW ROSHAN BAHTTI ACCUSED OF CORRUPTION

HYDERABAD: Lady Health Workers from Tadno Allahyar held Dharna in front of press club here on Wednesday for demand of regularizing them in service accusing provincial coordinator Roshan Bhatti of red tapism and corruption. They said they that all lady workers in Sindh were issued orders by Sindh government in July 2012 to be regularized in their services but the provincial coordinator of LHW program Roshan Bhatti was regularizing only those who were paying him bribe\. They were led by Siddiqua, Shama, Fatima, Neelofer and Bashiran and told media that in Tando Allahyar they were 500 lady health workers out of this number only 150 have been regularized so far that also on payment of bribe and others who cannot afford payment of bribe to Roshan Bhatti have been deprived of regularization which was their right. They demanded from chief minister to regularize them in service and to take action against the officers denying them right on basis of bribe which they cannot afford to pay them.

HINDUS DEMO AGAINST FORCED KIDNAPPING OF 12 YEAR OLD GIRL ANGELI

HYDERABAD: Hindu community held protest demonstration here Wednesday against kidnapping and conversion of aminor Meghwar girl Angeli in Ghotki at behest of big influential Pir of Bharchoondi who has earned notoriety by kidnapping Hindu girls, keeping them in his haveli and then marrying them with his Mureeds. The demonstration was led by professor Amar Sindhu, Kailash, Pardeep Kumar, Nindlal, Bhagwandas and Jai Parkash. They told that Hindu community was facing tyrannies and violence by extremists.They said few days back a Hindu girl Angeli aged 12 was kidnapped and then converted and married to a Muslim man on behest of Pir Bhrchoondi who is infamous in kidnapping and converting minorirty girls. They said under Pakistan law girl cannot be married under 18 but Angeli is of only 12. They demanded to filing case against Riaz Siyal and arrest him. They demanded to stop violence against Hindus on basis of religion and asked prime minister, chief minister chief justice to take notice of the incident and provide them protection.

WOMAN,DAUGHGTERS SEEK PROTECTION FROM BEING KILLED BY HUSBANDS BROTHERS

HYDERABAD: A married woman Khalida Tunio resident of Nazar Paro Larkana and her daughters seek protection from being killed by her husband and his brothers for not marrying her minor daughters and under duress she has left her home demanding justice and protection. Addressing press conference here on Wednesday she told media her husband Abdul Fateh Tunio lives in Saudi Arabia and has asked her 6 daughters to marry to his brothers sons who are illiterate. She said on refusal her husband’s brothers want to kill her and her daughters under Karo Kari I(honor killing). She told her elder daughter is of 15 years of age and youngest is of 2 years. She said they attacked to kill them 3 times but she eloped and ran away from home Larkana and came to Hyderabad press club on 31 October last. With help of police and media she and her daughters were given shelter at shelter home of ABAD. She said that she fears death at hand of her husband’s brothers Habibullah,Allah Bux,Dhani Bux, Sajid, Ghulam Hussain, Ghulam Siddique,Murad, Ramzan and Waris Tunio who might lodge false cases against her sympathizers.She demanded protection to her and her children and action against their would be killers.
During press conference she was accompanied with woman action forum leaders Haseen Musrat Shah, professor Amar Sindhu,Rafia Bangash of ABAD and Perveen Lodhi.
