KASUR: Amir Jamaat-e-Islam (JI) chief Sirajul Haq on Sunday demanded of Chief Justice (CJ) of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of a massive child abuse scandal in Kasur district.
While speaking to media persons after meeting with guardians of the victims here, he urged the chief justice of the Supreme Court to take the suo motu notice of the horrific incidents of sexual abuse of children.
Sirajul Haq added that a judicial commission should be formed to probe the scandal on priority basis, adding that results achieved by the commission should be shared with the nation within two weeks.
