HYDERABAD: The commissioner of Hyderabad Qazi Shahid Parvaiz has said that hepatitis is a very dangerous ailment and all the precautionary measures must be followed to avoid this ailment. People must have immediate hepatitis test, because any carelessness in this ailment could cause death.
This he said , while addressing a seminar organized by Sindh Skill Development and SANA at Hyderabad Press Club here on Thursday, regarding World Hepatitis Day.
He said that the government has started a campaign against hepatitis, while awareness programs regarding this ailment are being conducted in Hyderabad Division.
According to a report 7 lac people approximately die because of Hepatitis B and C worldwide every year, while it is growing at epidemic level in Sindh.
On that occasion Dr. Soomar Khoso, Madam Qamar Waheed, Senior Journalist G N Mughal and others were also present.
