Report on education presented in Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR: Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi arranged a program with stakeholders and district officials on title an Annual Status Education Report [ASER] at Gymkhana Shikarpur here on Thursday.
The Provincial Coordinator Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi Mumtaz ali Pirzada was chief guest on the occasion while Agha Waheed Ahmed, the social welfare officer and Din Muhammad Shaikh were honorable guest in the program.
Addressing the program the Provincial Coordinator Mumtaz Ali Pirzado said this is the third launch of ASER in Shikarpur and it is most comprehensive yet, Each year the annual status education report seeks to engage through a powerful evidence framework a wide spectrum of stakeholder to influence policy and action adding aims and objectives of ASER are to influence specific policies and actions for education and contribution for global conversations on learning and quality, public private provision, early childhood care and education and education financing.
Mr Mutmaz Ali presented a detailed report of Education of Shikarpur in which he disclosed that 29 pcs boys aged around 5 to 16 years are out of school while 10 pcs students of grade 5th could understand an English of grade 2nd whereas 50 pcs students of grade 5th could read Sindhi language stories which is alarming condition in Shikarpur.
