Rs. 81 crore approved Sindh Govt for up gradation of Larkana Sewerage

LARKANA: Deputy Commissioner Larkana Ghanwar Ali Leghari has said that on the directives of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sindh government has approved Rs 801 millions for up gradation of sewerage system in Larkana city, TMA will charge Rs 50 tax on every house for cleanliness facility, he expressed these notions while talking with Journalists at Larkana Press Club during his visit on Tuesday.

DC further said that master plan of Larkana will be prepared for the future township planning and developments, added that builders are establishing the colonies and other housing schemes but are reluctant to provide the basic facilities like sewerage and internal roads, which is illegal, he said.

Mr Leghari said that one more girls college in Larkana city will be set up in Larkana for the facilitation of female students, it is result of foreseeing policy of present government, Deputy Commissioner is a  public servant and working for the betterment of citizens.

On the occasion Deputy Commissioner Larkana visited the different sections of Larkana Press Club and lauded the efforts of newly elected President S Iqbal Babu and his team, said that MNA Faryal Talpur will also announce the residential plots for the journalists on 21 June 2014 on the eve of 61 birth anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. Deputy Commissioner Larkana announced Rs 0.1 million for Larkana Press Club.

Earlier President S Iqbal Babu presented traditional gift Topi and Ajrak to Deputy Commissioner Larkana Ghanwar Ali Leghari.

 

President Larkana Press Club hands over Rs 0.1 million to daughter of Shan Dahar

LARKANA: President Press Club S Iqbal Babu handed over Rs 0.1 million to daughter and mother of martyred journalist Shan Dahar, who was gunned down by unidentified armed men few month back at Badah city.

Mother of  Shan Dahar received one lac Cash from S Iqbal Babu on behalf of Larkana Press Club for the financial assistance of family of deceased journalist here at Larkana Press Club.

Fozia Dahar sister of martyred journalist Shan Dahar told media that her family is not satisfied with prevailing investigation of his case, Police should apprehend the involved culprits in the view of impartial investigation and other findings collected by Police.

On the occasion Senior Journalists among Dr Mula Bux Kalhoro, Vice President Larkana Press Club Tariqur Mehmood Durani, General Secretary Ghulam Murtaza Kalhoro, Moazam Sultan Bukhari and others were present.
