LAHORE: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Pakistan Railways and a private company at Railways Headquarters in Lahore on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique hoped it will improve performance of Pakistan Railways and bring more revenue to it.
He said private investment in Pakistan Railways will be welcomed as it will create new job opportunities.
Railways Minister said Pakistan Railways is taking various measures for improving its economic condition.
He said revenue earned from the freight sector will be used for improving passenger trains.
