SHIKARPUR: Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh the PML-F MPA and Special Assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan has allegedly said that the PPP rulers were failed to redress the grievances of the people and settlement of their out standing problems and created unbearable problems for the people to face instead of providing relief in every field at every stage during their tenure of rule for eight years.
This was stated by him while addressing the press conference at Shaikh House here on Monday after noon.
Mr Shaikh has said that the PPP rulers who came in power by the mandate given them by the people of the province on this hope that the PPP government to serve them well as per mission left by PPP founder chairman Shaheed Zulfkiar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto as to provide Roti, Kapra oar Makan. But instead of following and implementing over the mission / agenda of Shaheed PPP leaders, the PPP rulers engaged their all efforts to encourage the corruption culture and looting the national exchequer in order to meet ulterior motives of earning money to build their fate.
PML-F MPA Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh has appreciated the operations against criminal elements conducted by Rangers at Karachi and other parts of the province of Sindh and demanded to continue the cleanup operations against the criminal and terrorists elements to ensure peace and tranquility like as the law and order situation was brought under control in Sindh including Karachi after conducting operations by Rangers against any criminal belonging to any political and other organizations party without any discrimination.
Replying to a question about the corruption reached in Shikarpur District at peak point, the PML-F leader blamed that the Deputy Commissioner, TMOs, and other officers of Public Health Engineering and other Departments were posted aimed at misappropriating the development funds by adopting the self made policy of distributing the funds among the PPP leaders and rulers of District Shikarpur instead of proper utilizing the funds for developments schemes in District Shikarpur.
While Mr Shaikh complained that the Deputy Commissioner Hadi Bux Zardari and his focal person Irshad Ahmed Chandio the Deputy Director Information Shikarpur were involved in misappropriating the development funds released from government of Sindh to have completed the ongoing development schemes and the new schemes carried on by District Administration, Municipal Committee, Public Health Engineering and North Sindh Urban Services Corporation (NSUSC) under their supervision by preparing false bills for 2-3 times against the construction purposes during the period of the above said then Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur.
He has demanded of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to take serious notice into the matter of corruption made by the then Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur Hadi Bux Zardari and his focal persons Irshad Ahmed Chandio the Deputy Director Information Shikarpur who were directly involved in misappropriating and misusing the development funds in crores of rupees. While this matter of corruption will be brought on the floor of Sindh Assembly to discuss and an inquiry.
ONE KILLED WHILE WOMAN INJURED IN FIRING

SHIKARPUR: A man identified as 30-years old Muharram Ali Shar was killed while a woman identified as 60-years old Umeedan Shar sustained bullet injuries in firing at village Rakhial-g-Wand over an old dispute for piece of Agricultural land in the jurisdiction of Garhi Yasin police station on Monday noon.
As per details a clash erupted between two groups of Shar tribesmen over property matter which claim one live and left one elderly woman injured.
Armed men escaped away from place of firing.
Area police rushed on the spot and shifted injured woman and the body of the deceased to the Taluka Headquarter (THQ) Hospital for medical treatment and conducting post-mortem after conducting post-mortem examination the body of the deceased handed over to his relatives.
Injured woman is reported out of danger, source said.
FIR was registered on the complaint of Mst Jamul Khatoon against 16 accused at Garhi Yasin police station.
No arrest of the culprits reported till this story was filed.

SHIKARPUR: The activists of Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT) Shikarpur chapter held a protest camp against cleanliness, land mafia, worst condition of roads, involvement in corruption of Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur and to impose ban on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan at Lakhi Gate Clock tower here consecutive three days of Eid-ul-Fitar.
Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT) leaders Zahid Bhambhro, Zafar Channa and others said that the worst condition of main roads and due to negligence of the authorities concerned the sewerage water has inundated in the streets over complete city therefore citizens of Shikarpur are facing several troubles they further pointed out that some influential persons have occupied property of historical graveyards in the city but District Administration has failed to proceeding they allegedly said that former Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur Hadi Bux Zardari was involved in corruption like development work, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Park project and purchase of CCTV cameras.
They further said and added that Muttahida Qaumi Movement is terrorist organization therefore we are demanded of the concerned authorities immediately impose ban on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan.
The activists of QAT were chanting slogans against MQM and District Administration on the occasion.
A large number social activists of Shikarpur including Chairman Shikarpur Bachayo Tahreek (SBT) Mian Zafar Alvi, Rauf Abro, Ali Asghar Pahore Advocate (JI), Arshad Kagzi, Dr Jaffari, Muhammad Ayaz Abro, Abdul Ghani Banglani, Shahnawaz Abro, Zubair Bhambhro, Muhammad Nawaz Abro, Muhammad Faisal Soomro, Abdul Rahim Banglani and others came to protest camp and assured them their full support.
Protesters demanded of the concerned authorities to take notice of the matter and take stern action against accused those involved in corruption otherwise they threatened to extend their protest circle.
