PPP doesn’t want confrontation with institutions: Khursheed Shah

PARIS: Opposition Leader in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has on Monday said that PPP doesn’t want confrontation with any institutions.
Addressing a ceremony organized by PPP France, Khurshid Shah said that Pakistan would still have been ruled by some dictator if PPP hadn’t offered sacrifices.
Khursheed Shah said that democracy in Pakistan is courtesy Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) only. He said that PPP defended democracy and parliament against the sit-ins, not Nawaz Sharif.
He said that PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and his daughter Benazir Bhutto embraced martyrdom but didn’t let democracy be damaged.
