PPP candidate wins by-election in Larkana PS-35

LARKANA: A lead victory of PPP Candidate on by-election at PS 35 consitituency after the death of former minister and MPA, Haji Altaf Hussain Unar. PPP candidate Sohail Anwar Siyal defeated the opponent an independent candidate by turn out 54.30 percent while lead votes 38865. The total registered votes among 118816 among 64513 vote cast ratio.
Rival and Independent candidate at PS 35 constitutency Shafqat Hussain Unar could earn only 18419 votes and lost with huge margin on the occasion.
All the polling stations among 118 had been declared sensitive, while the election was carried out under the supervision of Pak Army, among 4500 police cops, Rangers and other security personals were depoyed on the occasion.
It was also observed that the election process some extent transparent in the different polling stations, there were no rigging reports received by the independent sources and media also.
District Returning Officer Larkana issued notification of election results late night and declared PPP candidate Suhail Anwer Siyal’s victory in by-election.
On the occasion, a large number of supporters and PPP workers jubbiliated over the victory of Suhail Anwer Siyal and distributed sweets among the workers and citizens.
Later, the elected MPA candidatre Suhail Anwer Siyal along with PPP leaders and workers visited the Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and laid floral wreaths on the graves of Shaheed Zuflikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and others.
