PP YOUTH WING TO HOLD WORKERS CONVENTION AT BHIT SHAH ON 20TH JUNE

HYDERABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party Youth Wing has announced to hold workers convention at Bhit Shah on June 20 this year to remember Shaheed Benazir Bhutto whose birthday will be celebrated the next day. This was stated by Aajiz Dhamra president PPP Youth wing Sindh while addressing news conference at press club Saturday. He was accompanied with general secretary Tanveer Arain, divisional president Ahsan Abro, Akram Shah,Kaleem Khanzada, Dr.Suleman and others.
He said Shaheed Benazir was the only leader who was recognized not only leader of Pakistan but of whole world. He said on her birthday on 21 June the workers would collect blood donations at camps and then supply same to the patients in hospitals. He reminded that this way of service to ailing human was in PPP.
He said they have arranged 10000 seating arrangements for Bhit Shah Convention where they would chop her birthday cake. He said Senator Aitzaz Ahsan, Syed Khurshid Shah, Qamarzaman Qaira, Qaim Ali Shah and other party leaders would participate. Counting achievements he said 120,000 youth have been given skilled training one third of whom have found jobs in market. Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Program was being financed by World Bank and it is not burden on federal or Sindh government.
He deplored that federal minister Abid Sher Ali was visiting Sindh like Sultan Rahi and on whose orders power of government offices and even private consumers have been cut off. He made it clear that if there were dues towards Sindh the matter could be sorted out by forming a committee as Sindh government has reservations on amount of arrears.
He said PPP would wish Nawaz Sharif complete his 5 year term and had not launched any agitation against it but it were his own cabinet ministers whose follies were creating problems for him.
He asked that Sindh may not be pushed to civil war like situation arising out of differences between Wapda minister and officers.
