LARKANA: Unidentified men set fire on 5 acre land of wheat crop which reduced to ashes at village Chakro Taluka Dokri district Larkana, large number of people of Kumbhar community staged protest
Demonstration in front of Larkana Press Club against the incident and called for arrest of involved accused here on Saturday.
President All Sindh Kumbhar Itehad Rajib Ali Kumbhar, General Secretary Muhammad Bux Kumbhar and other leaders led the protest and condemned the incident.
Talking to media men they said that miscreants criminals have torched the 5 acre crop of wheat of Ghulam Shabir Kumbhar joint Secretary ofAll Sindh Kumbhar Itehad which is injustice with poor grower who is dependent on annual yield.
They demanded of high ups to take notice of matter, arrest involved accused and provide him justice, other wise, All Sindh Kumbhar Itehad will announce province wide protest.
Old-aged women continue protest against non provision of stipend at closed BISP Counter

LARKANA: Poor and deprived Women beneficiaries’ of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) are still suffering at the hands of concerned local authorities, despite of tall claims to increase the number of BISP payment center were found closed.
There is no single counter could be set up in Larkana city to facilitate the women, commission mafia is emerging powerful, concerned authorities have failed to find the concrete solution for the smooth system. Several poor women of different cities Larkana district observed protest demonstration in front of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Larkana against non provision of stipend since many months and issuance of Benazir Debit Card for Larkana women like other cities of country here on Saturday.
Poor women beneficiaries of BISP by holding the portraits of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto shouted the slogans in favor of their demands and called for the increasing the number of Bank counters from 1 to 20 at union council level in Larkana district.
Speaking on the occasion poor women of different localities among, Zubaida Khatoon, Farzana Rind, Bherai Khoso resident of Dari muhalla Larkana, Arbaili, Tehmoran Khatoon, Kamal Khatoon, Shamshad Khatoon, Zakia and others alleged that HBL Express centers in charges with collusion of BISP officials are not maintaining the rows for smooth distribution of stipend amongst the deserving women, concerned administration are reluctant to deploy the women Police at HBL counter to avoid any untoward situation and mismanagement, they said.
They alleged that concerned officials were deliberately creating mismanagement at BISP HBL counters in Larkana in order to get commission through their agents hired by concerned officials of BISP and HBL Express centers.
Women said that DGM HBL Sukkur and Area Manager Larkana were behind the closure of centers in Larkana , corrupt and favorite officials are being posted at BISP centers, who get huge commission from the poor women.
Protesting women said that several women have died in BISP Center; women are humiliated over the payment of Rs 1000 to 1200 which is shameful and condemnable act.
On the occasion protesting women appealed to Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan, Chairperson BISP, President HBL and other.
