Police party arrest two terrorists wanted in Shikarpur tragedy

SHIKARPUR: Two more terrorists wanted in Shikarpur tragedy were arrested by special police party from the area of Lakhi Gate Shikarpur on Friday morning.
The suicide bomb blast disaster was occurred on 30th January 2015 in Central Imambargah Masjid situated near Lakhi Gate Clock tower in which 65 persons were killed while more than 75 persons were seriously wounded during the Juma prayer.
During the joint investigation team comprising Police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Rangers and other law enforcing agencies three of the terrorists identified as Ghulam Rasool Brohi, Khalil Ahmed Brohi and Zameer Marfani belonging to banned terrorists organizations as Lashikar-e-Jhangvi, and Tahreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were arrested. While on the pin point of the arrested terrorists Ghulam Rasool Brohi, Khalil Ahmed Brohi and Zameer Marfani the special police party raided on one house situated at Lakhi Gate area here and arrested two more absconding terrorists wanted in Shikarpur disaster identified as Waqar Mahar and Meer Hassan Rind from there.
According to SSP Shikarpur Saqib Ismail Memon that both the arrested terrorists Waqar Mahar and Meer Hassan Rind have confessed that they were along with the above arrested three terrorists were involved in suicide bomb blast attack in which one of his other friends Muhammad Ilyas Brohi of 18, was expired while blasting in Imambargah.
The arrested terrorists according to police they were deputed for militant training at Waziristan by the gang In-charge where they after completing militant training in the camp of Ustad Aslam Panjabi at Waziristan and were returned and engaged them to commit bomb blasting in Shikarpur Imambargah and other places according to terrorists network in District Shikarpur.
The further investigation against the terrorist network is going on in District Shikarpur for arresting the other gang members of the terrorists network involved in Shikarpur disaster. Whereas the three other terrorist named Ghulam Rasool Brohi, Khalil Brohi and Zameer Marfani are already remaining in jail custody.

THREE DACOITS KILLED

SHIKARPUR: Three notorious dangerous dacoits were killed in an encounter took place between the police and the dacoits in katcha area in the limits of Napar kot Police Station on Thursday late night.
The big police in contingent from Ghotki and Shikarpur under the supervision of SSP Shikarpur Saqib Ismail Memon and SSP Ghotki raided on the hideouts of the dacoits in katcha area where after the encountering three notorious dacoits identified as Talib Shar, Latif Shar and Usman Shar were killed while their other accomplices slipped away from the seen of firing.
According to police the killed dacoits were the main members of the gang of notified dacoit Sulto Shar who were wanted to police in murder case of SHO Ghotki Hassan Kolachi and other heinous crimes as police encounters, murders, kidnapping for ransom, road robberies and other serious offences.
SSP Shikarpur has further claimed that the other gangsters of Sulto Shar would be arrested very soon for which all out efforts are being utilized.
