LAHORE: The National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) Tuesday claimed that the countrywide electricity loadshedding has stopped for the time being.
NTDC said that the weather turning pleasant after rains has bridged the gap between the demand and supply of electricity and a new schedule of loadshedding would now be issued.
NTDC spokesman said that the demand and supply of electricity stand tied as both the demand and generation of electricity currently pegged at 11,000 megawatts making the temporary end of loadshedding possible.
The spokesman further said that the supply of furnace oil and gas to all the powerhouses has also been increased. He said that the new schedule of loadshedding would be issued in accordance with the demand and supply gap.
