HYDERABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) itself has turned a institute of corruption as its teams conduct raids, takes away corrupt officers, receives huge amounts from them and then releases them .Such officers are not removed and continue on their posts to more loot and plunder. This was stated by leaders of SNP Ashraf Noonari, Ramzan Buledi, Dilshad Bhuto, and Sain Bux Banglani said during last 7 years record corruption, land grabbing, money laundering was committed in which billions of rupees of Sindh were embezzled but NAP remained silent spectator. They said NAB raided offices, arrested officers and took away record books but none of them has so far been sent to jail not punished as such these officers were again sitting on their chairs and looting the national wealth.They said people daily hear news on media about raids of NAB, Rangers and FIAs and sieze millions being carried outside country from boats and from bunglows of ministers but people want to know why the culprits were not sent to jail or punished and let free to continue to thier loot and plunder. HYDERABAD: The annual elections of Hyderabad press club were held here Tuesday in a peaceful manner. The elections were contested by two groups one Democratic and Aqeel Ibrahim panel on one side and Sahafi Dost panel on the other. The election committee had issued schedule two weeks ago and passing from process of filing nomination papers, scrutiny, objections and final list ended on 26 June. The polling started in common room Tuesday morning ended at 6 pm at common room of press club.
According to vote count by members of election committee headed by Muhammad Sadiq Kubar with Abdul Majeed Pahnwar and A.D.Mallah as members, Jai Parkash (Ibrat group) of Democratic/AI panel was elected as president of HPC securing 167 votes defeating his rival Farooq Soomro( Sindh Express) of Sahafi Dost panel who got 65 votes. On seat of vice president, Farhan Effendi(president Hyderabad Union of Journalists) succeeded with getting 171 votes. His rival Jaffar Memon (editor daily Sindh) of Sahafi Dost panel got 61 votes. Nasir Shaikh of democratic/AI panel elected as general secretary with 186 votes while his rival Basharat Jatoi of Sahafi Dost panel got 41 votes .On Joint secretary seat Danish Nafees of Democratic/AI panel elected with 173 votes defeating his rival Ayub Leghari of Sahafi Dost panel who could get 46 votes. For seat of Treasure seat Ashok Sharma of Democratic/AI panel was elected getting 181 votes defeating Imran Patoli of Sahafi Dost panel who got 49 votes.
Pir Syed Noor Alam Shah was already elected unopposed as member governing body (Associate class) while on 9 other seats of council seats of MGB following were elected Ali Hassan getting 190 votes;Hussain Khan 186; Akhtar Pirzada 180;Ilyas Warsi 185, Khalid Khokhar 196; Rauf Chandio 183; Mansoor Mari 181, Lala Rehman Smoo 197 and Sohail Sangi 203 votes. All seats belonged to Democratic/AI panel.
BHAMBHRO TERMS STATEMENT OF ALTAF FOR FIGHT IN EVERY STREET OF KARACHI AS PROVOCATIVE

HYDERABAD: Sindh National Party chairman Amir Bhambhro has termed the statement of MQM chief Altaf Hussain as provocative in which he has asked his workers to wage war in every street in case he was killed or arrested. Bhambhro expressed surprise that whose heads would MQM workers chop in fight in every street of Karachi. Would their victims be Sindhis or security forces: armed personnel, Rangers and police. He said if that happens every child of Sindh would fight against them for survival of their motherland.Bhmbhro said days of Altaf are counted and he has to face his fate as he was killer of thousands of innocent people Sindhis,Punjabis, Pathans and others. He said Altaf even did not spare his own party companions Azim Tariq and Imran Farooq. He teaches workers that every one is to be killed who turns against him. He said soon Altaf was to meet his Waterloo that is why he was attempting to fan ethnic fight in Sindh. He said Sindhis would unite to foil his conspiracy to destabilize country in collaboration with Indian agency RAW.He asked Urdu speaking population to distance themselves against Altaf and his party because if they followed Altaf and waged war they could be losers to once again face migration.
