LUJ hosts tea party of District Commissioner Larkana

Deputy Commissioner Larkana attended the Tea party hosted by Larkana Union of Journalists (LUJ) in his honor at Larkana Press Club.
Speaking at Press Club Deputy Commissioner Larkana Ghanwar AliLeghari said that long standing issues of plot for Journalists of Larkana will be addressed within a month, in this regard efforts are underway , very soon journalist community will listen the good news, added that a portion of Press Club consists of four rooms will be renovated by upcoming ADP scheme.
He informed that on the directives of Chairman PPP Bilawal BhuttoZardari, master plane is being prepared for the beautification of Larkana city under the supervision of Professor of NED University Karachi, documentary of city is being also made for the development schemes upgrade the sewerage system.
Deputy Commissioner Larkana Ghanwar Ali Leghari said that District Administration has collected the all data and maps of encroached public and private prosperities of land grabbers, very soon anti- encroachment drive will be started.
On the occasion President Larkana Union of Journalists Muhammad Ali Behleem, President Larkana Press Club Zafar Abro, General Secretary LUJ Imtiaz Gorar, Vice President LPC Dr Badar Shaikh, Vice President LUJ Muharam Ali Shaikh, joint Secretary LUJ Akbar Kaimkhani, QaziAijaz, Hanif Suhag, Asif Hussain Chandio and others presented Gifts of Ajraks and Topi to Deputy Commissioner Larkana Ghanwar Ali Leghari.

STEVTA employee’s protest

A large number of employees of Sindh Technical and Vocational Training Authority ( STEVTA) Larkana on protest given All Sindh Employees Technical Education Association Larkana region staged protest, took out rally and locked all institutions including Polytechnic College, government Commercial Business institute, Vocational institutes of Larkana and Regional Director STEVTA office in protest against the privatization of STEVTA here on Wednesday.
The rally was led by Mureed Khakhrani, Rustam Ali Abro, Gada HussainSoomro, Muhammad Paryal Bughio and others, rally started from RDSTEVTA office jail road, which marching through various roads culminated outside the Larkana Press Club. Protesting employees of STEVTA Larkana were holding the banners and placards inscribed with slogans, demanding the withdrawal of anti-employees policy.
Talking to media men Mureed Khakhrani informed that former Managing Director STEVTA Sindh had signed the MoU with CEO Sindh Rural Support Program hand over the all institutions of STEVTA Sindh to SRSO for 5years under the Public Private Partnership (PPP).
He said that under well organized conspiracy anti employee’s agreement were made but employees will continue their struggles for the rights of employees and save the STEVTA.

On the directives of competent authority of PPP, Ghulam Mujtaba Isran district President PPP Kamber Shahdadkot has appointed the Sarfraz Ahmed Chandio as President PPP Taluka Sajawal Junejo, under the notification no Kbr, Skt, 21-23, on the occasion PPP local leaders and workers congratulated to new office bearer.
