Khursheed Shah terms Qadri’s demands unconstitutional

SUKKUR: Opposition leader in National Assembly and of Pakistan People’s Party, Syed Khursheed Shah Saturday termed the demands presented by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri as unconstitutional.

Talking to media representatives here, Shah said it would be better for Tahirul Qadri to prepare his party’s manifesto and on its basis seek votes from the people.

“Qadri should tell the people through his manifesto that he wants to bring about major changes in the Constitution. That’s the appropriate way,” he said.

He said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s demand of Prime Minister’s resignation should stay till the holding of negotiations with the government. He warned that if Imran Khan budged on his stance, his show will be over.

Khurhseed Shah said former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf would not leave the country for the next two-three months.
