Army Chief visits Quetta’s Samungli and Khalid Aviation Airbase

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif Saturday visited Quetta’s Samungli and Khalid Aviation Airbase where the forces had thwarted a militant attacks two days ago.

Army Chief said that the Pakistani nation has rejected terrorism and wants elimination of terrorists from the country.

Addressing the security personnel at Samungli and Khalid Aviation Airbase, General Raheel said terrorism could be eliminated and sustainable peace could be achieved in Balochistan and other areas through collective wisdom.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Raheel appreciated the ‘valour’ of security forces, who successfully foiled a terrorist bid to attack Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Army Aviation Base in Quetta late Thursday night.
