Khuhro distributes of appointment letters of HSTs, JSTs & PSTs

SUKKUR: Sindh Senior Minister for Education & Literacy Nisar Ahmed Khuhro distributed appointment letters to 1056 successful candidates of Sukkur, Ghotki and Nausharoferoze districts who had qualified after passing the NTS tests for High School Teacher (HST) Junior Schoot Teacher (JST) and Primary School Teacher (PST) categories.
The appointment letters were distributed in a ceremony held Monday at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Sukkur.
Congratulating the newly appointed teachers, he said: “You are going to make the foundation of the nation, be honest with your profession as future of the country depends on the children you are going to educate.”
He emphasized on the teachers to promise that you would not disappoint the nation, the province and the leadership which sacrificed their lives for this country.
The Minister said that the teachers to be appointed now would be posted at schools that remained closed owing to paucity of teachers and that they would not be eligible for transfer for many years. The Minister claimed that all appointments were made on pure merit and no quota of anyone including himself was applied in the process of appointing the teachers. Those teachers, who would not attend their schools for imparting education among then children, would be sacked.
Earlier, the director education & schools Sukkkur, Ms Zaib-un-Nisa Mangi highlighted briefly on the responsibilities of the fresh recruited teachers. The Special Coordinator to Chief Minister Sindh Dr Arshad Mughal, Chief Program Manager RSU Saba Mehmood, Senior Program Manager Zameer Ahmed khoso and others also spoke on the occasion.
