LARKANA: A large number of activists of Khaksar Tehreek Pakistan Larkana chapter led by Niaz Baloch staged protest and demonstration against the arrest of Nazim-e-Alla Khaksar Tehreek Sindh and Baluchistan Azm-e-Haider and police negative attitude of ASP Larkana and SHO Haidri Police Station.
Khaksar activists protesting in front of Larkana Press Club carrying the banners and placards inscribed the slogans of human rights violation and called for removal of allegedly corrupt Police officials, despite of register FIR of robbery they arrested a responsible official of Khaksar Tehreek they said.
Talking to media men Khaksars among Niaz Ahmed Baloch, Anwar Abro, Naveed, Ghulam Haider, Gada Hussain and others said that central leader of KT Azm-e-Haider reached Hyderi Police Station to register FIR against robbery from him, but Police instead of lodging FIR, they detained complainant and started interrogation to him which is atrocity of Police ASP and SHO Hyderi they said.
They said that citizens are insecure in their houses in day light, robberies and other criminal activities on the rise; on the other hand Police are supporting the criminal elements. Local Police are reluctant to take action against the criminals, who roaming in city without any fear, they alleged.
They demanded of high ups to take strict notice of matter, conduct the impartial inquiry and remove the corrupt Police officials in Larkana, otherwise Khaksar Tehreek will enlarge the protest circle to other cities.
