A woman resident of home town Shaheed Benazir Bhutto attempts suicide

A woman resident of Naudero home town of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto along with her daughter and son attempted suicide by jumping Into Rice Canal due to poverty and unable to provide dowry to her daughter near Naudero on Thursday.
According to details: Rashida (40) wife of Juman Jeho resident of Gareebabad muhalla Naudero along with her daughter Nida (7) and Son Naveed Jeho jumped into Rice Canal Regulator near Naudero to commit suicide, on the occasion Irrigation officials and Naudero Police rescued them and brought woman and her children to Naudero Police Station.
Talking to media men poor woman told that marriage ceremony of her daughter Nadia is to be held on upcoming Sunday, she has no any money to buy the dowry for her daughter, added that her husband is retired Railway employee and drug edict who refused to arrange the dowry.
She said that she has four sons and two daughters due to poverty and inflation our children are deprived of education, their family is facing starvation and poverty, it is quite difficult to survive.
SHO Naudero Police Station Sartaj Jagirani apprised the journalist about the incident and said that woman accompanying by her two children attempted to suicide by jumping into Rice Canal at Naudero
Regulator where deployed Police cops and irrigation staff rescued them, SHO confirmed that she had no money to purchase dowry for her daughter whose marriage was to be held on upcoming Sunday.
