India releases water towards Pakistan

KASUR: Indian authorities on Tuesday opened three floodgates towards Pakistan near Ferozpur Headworks, raising fears of more floods in Pakistan.
India has released 87,000 cusecs of water in River Sutlej increasing water level in the river to alarming scale.
According to reports Indian authorities have informed Pakistan that they will release more water in the river within next two days.
Indian authorities opened three floodgates towards Pakistan near Ferozpur Headworks, due to which water level in River Sutlej has increased to 15 feet. The residents in Okara being moved to safer places due to flooding threat.
