ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Senator Pervaiz Rasheed Saturday said the real agenda of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is to send the democratic government packing.
“Imran Khan’s real agenda is not to bring electoral reforms but to topple the democratic government,” the Information Minister said in a statement issued here.
He accused the PTI Chief of wanting to get the assemblies of four provinces dissolved and then lodge himself at the helms of country’s rule.
Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Birjees Tahir said Imran Khan till date has failed to reach any decision on the alleged rigging in the intra-party elections of PTI.
“The election commissioner of the PTI is sitting silently on rigging in the party elections,” he alleged.
State Minister for Water and Power, Abid Sher said Imran Khan was willing to hold negotiations with the murderers of 50,000 Pakistanis but he is not ready to engage in dialogue with the democratic and constitutional government of Pakistan.
