He admired the step of the government to convene the joint session of the parliament, saying it exposed true faces of the entire political leadership which stood together to save their so-called democracy.

Imran Khan also criticized Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari ‘for coming from Dubai to save Nawaz Sharif’.
“I didn’t take money from ISI like you (Nawaz Sharif) did as it was revealed in Asghar Khan case,” he continued.

The PTI chief said the 45 days spent inside the container are at one side, the rest of the years of his political carrier on the other. He said the 45-day long sit-in has set a world record. “I will keep on staging the sit-in till I get Nawaz Sharif’s resignation,” he vowed.

“I knew I wouldn’t be able to defeat them in conventional politics. I knew by coming to power with the US backing I wouldn’t be able to break the status quo. But, I knew I would succeed when my nation would stand with me,” he said.

He said one day the slogan of “Go Nawaz Go” will echo inside Nawaz Sharif’s home.

However, he asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif not to resign now and continue to hold his office till he brings the entire nation together.

Imran Khan asked the people of Lahore to promise him they would not leave his side and in exchange vowed to stand with them in all circumstances.

He asked the people of Mianwali to be ready, as he would be holding his next rally there on Thursday. He said after Mianwali he would stage a procession in Multan.

At the end, Imran Khan said tonight he would be leaving for Islamabad to join the sit-in.

Earlier, Awami Muslim League leader, Shaikh Rasheed in his address said he was engaged in the last political movement of his career with Imran Khan and prayed for the latter’s success.
