Imran Khan rejects any alliance with PPP

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan has said that there is no possibility of alliance with PPP in presence of Asif Ali Zardari as PPP’s co-chairman.

While talking to media after appearing before ATC, Imran Khan said that his struggle had been against corruption. He added that had he been struggling for coming into power he would have joined hands with PPP to topple Nawaz government. He said that it was out of question to join hands with PPP in presence of Asif Ali Zardari as co-chairman of the party.

Regarding the cases against him, he added that was shameful that the state was lodging terrorism cases against political opponents. He added that holding protest for one’s right was not terrorism.

Khan said that during today’s proceedings lies were told unabated. He also lashed out at PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif for criticizing courts, saying that after telling lies for which he was disqualified questions were asked as to why they were ousted.
