Imran ‘intimidates’ police to get PTI workers released

ISLAMABAD: Heavy contingent of police surrounded residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan in the wee hours of Monday to re-arrest the PTI workers whom Khan allegedly got released from custody by intimidation.

At least 1500 policemen were present outside Khan’s Bani Gala residence, repeatedly asking Khan through mega phone to handover the PTI workers.

However, the police contingent were called back for unknown reasons.

Meanwhile, Some of the policemen were also heard giving subdued response to Khan’s outburst saying “We are duty-bound, sir”.
