Imam-e-Kaaba calls for unity amongst Muslims

ISLAMABAD: Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Khalid Al Ghamidi delivering a pre-Friday prayer sermon at Faisal Mosque in Islamabad said that Muslims should remain united and must help each other when in need.

Addressing a large gathering today, he went on to say that the dignity of man is based on piety and not on ethnicity.

He further said that salvation only lies in the practice of the Sunnah and the Holy Quran.

The Imam-e-Kaaba also said that everyone’s religion, God, and Prophet, and the Holy book are the same.

After delivering the sermon, he led the Friday prayers at the mosque.

President Mamnoon Hussain and Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousaf were amongst the thousands of people who offered Friday prayers behind the Imam-e-Kaaba.
