High Court notice to Home Secretary, SSP and SHO over threats to the local Journalist

LARKANA:
A journalist of Sijawal Junejo district Kamber Shahdadkot has filed constitutional petition at Sindh High Court circuit bench Larkana against the SHO Sijawal Junejo and other respondents on issuing life threats here on Thursday.
According to details: petitioner Ali Muhammad Bhutto resident of Sijawal Junejo district Kamber Shahdadkot through his lawyer advocate Nadeem Qureshi filed the constitutional petition against the SHO Suleman Pathan on issuing threats of dire consequences, in a petition he maintained that SHO Sijwal Junejo Suleman Pathan has issued threats of dire consequences on true reporting of the criminal act stories in the jurisdiction.
The honorable court issued notices to three respondents among SHO Sijawal Junejo Suleman Pathan, SSP Kamber Shahdadkot and Home Secretary through Sindh Government to be appeared before the court on 4 August 2014.

LCCI traders’ community issues Meeting with Sindh Small Industries

Larkana Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI) held meeting with Managing Director Sindh Small Industries regarding the issues of traders here at Larkana on Thursday.
President LCCI Anwar Ali Shaikh apprised the meeting regarding the problems of business community and said that condition of roads, sewerage system is miserable at Sindh Small Industry Larkana, sewerage water is stagnated outside the several Rice Mills and other industrial units, adding that traders are facing the hardships due to non provision of street lights facilities.
Anwar Ali Shaikh told that despite of receiving maintenance charges, concerned officials are reluctant to utilize the funds for development industrial area.
On the occasion MD Sindh Small Industries assured to LCCI members that he has physically visited the Industrial area Larkana and all genuine issues of traders will be addressed, the meeting was attended by Asif Raza, Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Ramesh Lal and others.

Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Department appreciation awards to various dignitaries

Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Department Government of Sindh Larkana region has distributed awards and appreciation certificate amongst to 26 Excise officials in Larkana on recognition of their services and for achieving targets and detecting the major Excise cases here on Thursday.
On the occasion, Deputy Director Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Department Larkana region Saleem Bhutto, Chairperson Hindu Panchayat advocate Kalpna Devi, President Larkana Chamber of Commerce and Industries Anwar Ali Shaikh and others presented the awards and appreciation certificates to 26 staff of MRI amongst AETO Mazhar Ali Bhutto, Qurban Ali Shaikh, Maqsood Ahmed Narejo, Ghulam Ali Leghari, Naveed Akhtar Shahani, Muhammad Ali Magsi, Syed Shafqat Ali Shah, Abdul Majeed Buriro and others.
Speaking on the occasion Deputy Director Saleem Bhutto, Chairperson Hindu Panchayat Advocate Kalpna Devi, President Larkana Chamber of Commerce and Industries Anwar Ali Shaikh, Sarfraz Jatoi, Miss Samina Abro and others said that it was great achievement of Larkana region and achieved the targets set by concerned department.
They said that objective of distribution of awards is to recognize the services and devoted efforts of recipients; similarly it is message for others to improve their performance in their respective field.
