RAWALPINDI: A high-level meeting of military leaders with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa in the chair deliberated over measures to deal with border issues and reforms pertaining to Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata). Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa said that any misadventure along the border would meet befitting response from Pakistan. Gen Bajwa expressed these views while presiding over the 75th annual Formation Commanders Conference here. An ISPR statement said the participants of the conference were briefed on the ongoing Raddul Fasaad, geostrategic situation, operational preparedness against conventional threats and matters of national security. Appreciating the performance of soldiers, the COAS said stability had been attained after the sacrifices of security forces. Gen Bajwa informed the conference of his recent visits to the frontline field formations along the eastern and western frontiers, appreciating operational preparedness there.
