THARPARKAR: At least four more children died in famine-hit Tharparkar, taking the death toll in the district to 113 during the current month.
As per details, a two-year-old child died in Diplo today due to malnutrition. He was taken to a hospital in Mithi, but could not survive. The number of deaths this month has reached 113.
Sindh Chief Minister SYed Qaim Ali had taken notice of the situation and ordered officials concerned last week to look into the health problems.
However, according to our correspondent, the government is unable to address prevailing issues in the arid region of Sindh.
