ABBOTTABAD: Four people were killed and two others injured during a clash between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) groups here on Tuesday.
Police said the clash which took place at Fawara Chowk was a result of both groups accusing each other of rigging during the local bodies elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the police, the men killed were activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The police said that apparently the incident happened as a result of the recent electoral dispute in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The police have kicked off investigation.
At least 12 people have been killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in post-election violence.
